At N&G Enterprises, we continuously strive towards using our energy, water, materials, and land resources more efficiently to provide healthier working and living environments for our customers and employees.

Some of our key Environmental Initiatives include:

Passive Design

By maximising the summer/winter design aspects in our renovations, we seek to help save on customers' energy consumption, electricity and water bills and do our bit for the environment.

Material Selection

Understanding the life-spans of the materials we use and their potential impact on the environment means we can select products that are better for our planet. Some of our material selection initiatives include:

• Re-using existing materials from any demolition (minimising waste) • Using recylced materials and those with minimal environmental impact • Using renewable resources (e.g. wood from sustainably managed forests) • Purchasing materials locally (minimising emissions in the transportation process)

Recycling

N & G Enterprises takes a proactive approach to waste management. We maximise the reuse of all salvageable materials in our renovations and waste is carefully controlled and separated for recycling. Reusable materials e.g. metals, wood, light fixtures, doors, cabinets and flooring materials are all recycled or salvaged and offered to clients, contractors and employees. Other materials such as furniture, clothing, chairs, tables etc. are all donated to charities such as the Salvation Army.
